Generate creative clusters of individuals in different disciplines such as photography, copywriting, styling, etc, to conceptualize imagery for advertising campaigns. Producing 'storyboards', 'mood boards', researching target audience to pitching ideas to clients.
Most graphic designers only get to work in two dimensions, and hence I am grateful that this is not my case. Working in merchandising and branding has provided me with the freedom to explore my abilities as an art director. When I am not behind the camera taking product shots, I tend to be behind the scenes procuring sets, liaising with photographers and directing photo shoots. I have had the chance to work with some big brands like Benefit, Oracle, Salesforce, Lulu Guinness just to name a few. The final products have always varied from stills for web campaigns or packaging, flat lays for corporate presentations, to 360 product shots for web stores, never the less, they are always exciting.
